    We advised and represented an important agribusiness client in the filing of an extraordinary appeal with a favorable sentence to its interests, whereby the existence of a rural land lease contract was recognized and the defendants were sentenced to pay a compensation of 700 million pesos. This was a landmark judgment in the history of rural property leasing in the country.

    The firm advised an important client, who was the legal representative of an important Colombian EPS, in a corporate litigation in which the General Assembly of shareholders decided to sue him for alleged acts, contracts and operations entered into in conflict of interests. The plaintiffs requested that the contracts be declared null and void and that he be ordered to pay an indemnity equivalent to 3,500 million pesos. We obtained a favorable ruling in favor of our client's interests where the plaintiffs' claims were dismissed and they were ordered to pay costs.
